A proxy site is a website which allows users to surf the internet freely through bypassing the filters that are in place they act as a kind of buffer. A proxy server will hide your IP address from the source website whilst proving you with general information. Proxy sites are in higher demand due to the increased security being put in place at schools and workplaces by administrators.
